Rockwell Kent created the artwork
Workers of the world. Kent used a technique called wood engraving, which is almost the same as a wood cut print. Wood engraving uses s block of wood as a matrix and is created on a surface cut across the grain, sanded and is worked with with finely pointed tools. The engraves consists of fine white lines that create the whole image and its detail when the wood block is inked.
